FOUNDATIONS: A CONVERSATION
ON MILITARY YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH & WELL-BEING

Kids Rank is seeking to influence the mental health and wellbeing of military and veteran children. Over time levels of anxiety and depression have increased in school aged children overall. The unique stressors of military life coupled with the cultural stigma around mental health for service members can leave military children at risk leading to negative and life-long challenges.
For the next installment of our 12- month long series, we will be partnering with Camp Corral to share about community partners. This will take place on January 21st at 12:00pm. Registration is free for everybody! Click here for more information or register at the link below!

We Are Resilience: Masks of Hope
Inspired by an art therapy technique with veterans, Kids Rank partnered with the National Veterans Art Museum to create the We Are Resilience: Masks of Hope exhibit. Last Spring, through a 4- week workshop, Pride Members created masks to express their experience as a military child. These masks were originally planned as a Month of Military Child installation but the COVID-19 pandemic changed our plans. Unable to visit the exhibit in person, we have created a catalog that takes a comprehensive look at this collaborative project. Thank you to Allstate for making this catalog possible!
