In 2018 Kids Rank piloted an Entrepreneur Program for military children in grades 6 -10. The purpose of the program is to introduce financial literacy and other business skills in a real world application. The result is Sweets by Kids: A Military Child Company!
Velvet Thunder is our newest cookie flavor option created by sisters Alexandra, Sofia and Gianna, daughters of a recently retired Marine veteran. The flavor was inspired by their favorite red velvet cake flavor. It was named by SBK board members Izzy and Hunter, from active duty Navy and Army families (respectively). This cookie is perfect with an ice cold glass of milk.
Suga-Mel our 2023 cookie flavor is a delicious Caramel Sugar cookie. This year's flavor was chosen by the Sweets buy Kids Team as part of a tasting field trip to our local manufacturer, Tasty Catering. This year we updated the flavor adding a sprinkle of salt for that sweet and salty combination!
Choc-O-Zest is our 2022 cookie flavor submitted by Madison R., child of an active-duty Navy sailor! This is a semi sweet chocolate chunk cookie with a hint of orange taking us to summer memories, like eating Creamsicles at the playground! This year we decided an orange glaze would enhance the cookie flavor.
Choc-A-Lot our first cookie flavor was created in 2018 by Maddie N. a child of a U.S. Marine service member is a decadent chocolate cookie perfect with milk, ice cream or coffee!
