About a month ago Marketing had our first meeting without the other teams. We had a lot of things to get done. We had to come up with a name for the cookie and design a label/seal. Everyone was drawing away! I wanted to make my label online because it would look more professional, but I didn’t really know how to use photoshop so that didn’t really work out. I decided to just start drawing like everyone else. After a while we all compared our ideas. Crystal and Kennedi liked Nya’s the best (even though I thought mine was pretty good). Nya’s label had arrows in the background to show how military families move around the world. She had the name of the cookie, Coco Cookie, in big bold letters. Later that day Nya, Crystal, Kennedi and I had a brainstorming session for a different name for the cookie. Some examples were Coco Crunch, KR Krunch, and Choco Loco. Also my personal favorite Coco Clumps:) I came up with the name Choc - A - LOT.
A few weeks later when the teams were all together, we voted between the final three cookie names, KR Krunch, Choco Loco, and Choc - A - LOT. Yup, my cookie name was in the final three! And the unanimous winner was ……. CHOC - A - LOT!!! I WON!! I tried to stay cool because I didn’t want to make anyone else feel bad, but I won! I was very happy. Although my label wasn’t the best, I’m glad that I can now go to Sunset Foods and see my cookie name proudly displayed.
