During each deployment or cross-country move, military children show tremendous strength and resolve similar to that of the most seasoned service man/woman. Official military ribbons are awarded to a member for their accomplishments made during their time of service. Kids Rank Ribbons are meant to symbolize positive traits that children of military families acquire during a parents duty.

We have been working on our Ribbons of Bravery for the past several weeks, and learning that although we may be scared to do certain things, bravery is about facing our fears and doing it anyway. I think that this is something that is hard for adults to do and I have been so impressed that my kids have been doing this every week.
