Military children will say good-bye to more significant people by age 18 than the average person will in their lifetime.
We are excited to join our friends from the Military Child Education Coalition for their 24th annual convening of providing learning opportunities for everyone who serves and supports the educational needs of military- and veteran-connected children.connected children.
For Kids Rank, we are hosting our Masks of Hope Workshop to educators and community leaders. As part of the national expansion of this project. We look forward to these motivated individuals taking the project back to their communities helping to give us greater opportunities to learn and engage military-connected children across the country.
Kids Rank Spotlight
Kids Rank PRIDES
Kids Rank engages military-connected children and youth in hands-on, skill building projects and volunteer opportunities designed to encourage resilience through our core pillars of CONNECT, LEAD, and SERVE.
We were so excited to be welcomed back at our military kids' schools and local community partner organizations for in-person Pride meetings! Our Pride Members during the 2021-2022 year worked on earning the Ribbons of Resilience, Trust, and Strategy. Pride members during weekly meetings are building Youth Leadership through Pride Officer Positions, giving back to their communities through Volunteer Service Projects, and connecting to other military kids through games and activities!
The Kids Rank Pride program is open to school-aged military children from all branches of service including active duty, reservists, retirees, veterans and Families of the Fallen. Prides located in Forrestal Village, Great Lakes, Highland Park, North Chicago, and Chicago
