Social Skills & Service
The purpose of the Social, Skills and Service Program is to intentionally provide space and opportunity for personal growth in military connected youth as they transition into adulthood. Providing weekly drop-in times to allow for small group bonding in a safe space, ongoing skill building workshops promoting both hard and soft skills as well as service learning giving them real-world problem-solving abilities that can impact their communities. Social, Skills and Service will house some already existing programs such as the Entrepreneurial Program as well as the Red Cross Training Program and introduce new programs such as Future Planning Workshops and the Kids Rank Media Department.

Kids Rank Spotlight
The beginning of the school year is often a difficult transition for military youth: not knowing anyone in their new schools, who they will sit with in the lunchroom or who they can walk with to class.
Kids Rank Summer Camp helps bridge this transition especially as schools look to open to in-person learning in the fall. The camp will serve as a way of helping new military kids joining the community to transition into the school year with some already established connections.
Kids Rank Camp 2021 was inspired by the Olympics! Each day our Kids Rank Campers traveled around the world to Japan, the UK, Germany, Australia and back home to the USA; we went on field trips to Independence Grove and BraveHearts equine therapy center, played games and water sports, created art and bonded together as military families and kids!
